Here will be a chart showing the descent from William Williams I, and UNKNOWN Williams, according to Nancy B. Edmands Allen, 13 generations back from the current babies. William was the great-great-great-great-great-great-grandfather of Grandfather Ernest Carl Edmands, 1884-1928.

That William is our ancestor is the finding of the research of Nancy B. Edmands Allen, b. 1925. The research of Mary Caroline Findley Edmands, 1887-1970 disagrees, however; instead of William, she would have Samuel Williams and Sarah UNKNOWN Williams.
