Here will be a chart showing the descent from Thomas Mansfield I, 1717-1758 and Bethiah Poole Mansfield, 1718-1750, either 10 or 11 generations back from the current babies (depending on which branch of the family you trace back on). Thomas and Bethiah were great-great-grandparents of our ancestor Ella Josephine Mansfield, 1849-1923 in Generation 6 (6 generations back from the current babies); they were great-great-great-grandparents of our ancestor Artemas Seymour Edmands, 1837-1920, Ella's husband and thus also in Generation 6.
